Our vision is to unite transdisciplinary experts, honor them, and allow them space and a platform to teach, be curious, absorb, learn, integrate, and embody best practices and wisdom teachings from the East, the West, and from our Indigenous Elders. Specifically, teachings related to healing personal, social, and ecological trauma Together, we will breathe life back into our hearts, and from the bounty of our hearts will dance, sing, and re-connect to the heartbeats of our loved ones, and all of life.
We recognize that the health of our natural habitats affects our health as individuals, our tribes, families, and societies. By cross-pollinating, we will add to the collective wisdom, customs, teachings, and traditions worldwide. Together, we will co-create creative and innovative solutions to our modern dilemmas. And together, from this well-spring, we will create visions, dreams, and hopes for a better tomorrow.
We aim to serve as a national resource for advocates, survivors, and aid organizations across disciplines to collaborate and act as a resource and support system for healing the hearts of one another and the heart of Mother Earth.
From childhood abuse, domestic violence, oppression, racial segregation, human trafficking, poaching, animal cruelty, murder, genocide, and destruction of the Amazon Forest and the coral reefs to the devastation caused by hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, car accidents, plane accidents, chemical spills, poverty, war, pandemics, cancer, tumors, heart disease, depression, and the loss of our mother humpbacked whales and her children. The collective and inter-dimensional trauma we have all experienced has stacked so high that millions of people, animals, bodies of water, and plant life are collapsing under the weight of it. United Healing Center is here to bring balance back to one another and nature by taking a radical approach to healing all multi-dimensional levels of trauma.
Melanie Vallee founded United Healing Center in 2014 to help bridge the gap between mental health, trauma, addiction, and spirituality. She recognized that all forms of trauma must be addressed to understand and heal our global mental health crisis.
Melanie is a Family and Marriage Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Master Addiction Counselor in Kirkland, Washington. She is a psychonaut at heart and oriented toward Ecotherapy and transpersonal psychology. Currently, she is in a Transformative Dissertation Studies Ph.D. program at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
